Our Wedding Menu 2025
Your Wedding Breakfast

When picking your menu choices, consider the majority of your guests, children, vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs and any of your guests with specific allergies and intolerances can be catered for separately- we will need to know how many to cater for.

We source all our produce from reputable local suppliers, and everything is prepared with care by our team of in-house professional Chefs. Whenever possible we use our organic homegrown herbs from the garden!

Canapes

Choose one options for your guests, and a vegetarian main course option. To give your guests an extra choice-£2.00 per head.

Starters- Choose one from

  • Pick your choice from the soup selection list.
  • Tomato and Mozzarella Salad, basil pesto, balsamic reduction.
  • Melon and seasonal Fruits.
  • Grilled Banana Salad – with bacon lardons & dolcelatte cheese, drizzled with an olive oil and balsamic dressing.
  • Chicken Liver Pate, served with an onion marmalade, salad garnish and Melba toast.
  • Chicken and Mushroom Pancake – glazed with cheese.
  • Sautéed mushrooms – in blue cheese sauce, crispy croutons.

Main courses- Choose one from- 

  • Fillet of Smoked Haddock, on a bed of mashed potato, parsley and white wine cream.
  • Roast Loin of Pork, sage and apple gravy.
  • Cumberland Sausage, with mashed potato and an onion gravy.
  • Braised Silverside of Beef, accompanied with Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
  • Braised lamb  – slowly roasted with root vegetables, garlic, rosemary and red wine served resting on a bed of mashed potato, drizzled with its own jus.
  • Breast of Chicken Parisienne with a sauce consisting of mushrooms & white wine, finished with cream.

Maggiore - £50.00 per person

Choose two options for your guests, and a vegetarian main course option- To give your guests an extra choice – £2.00 per head.

Starters- Choose two from-

  • Pick your choice from the soup selection list.
  • Grilled Goat’s Cheese – served with an apple and bacon salad.
  • Black pudding Fritters – in a lager batter, with a grainy mustard.
  • Fish Goujons, salad and tartare sauce.
  • Bread crumbed Mushrooms – accompanied with garlic mayonnaise.
  • Medaglione D’Agnello- minced lamb and onion patties, wrapped in bacon and roasted with rosemary and red wine, with mashed potato and an onion and rosemary jus.
    Ham Hock Terrine, with toasted ciabatta and piccalilli.
  • Melon Garnished with fruit and a blackcurrant Sorbet.

Main courses- Choose two from-

  • Fillet of Salmon, saffron and chive velouté.
  • Breast of Chicken, stuffed with mushroom, onion and bacon, with a Marsala sauce.
  • Bue Della Nonna – slowly roasted Brisket of Beef in a tomato sauce, with garlic and root vegetables.
  • Roast Sirloin – with Yorkshire pudding and gravy £5.00 extra.
  • Braised Trough of Bowland Lamb Shank, served with mashed potato and a red wine reduction.
  • Rump Steak – Served medium with a black pepper sauce

Lugano - Carvery Option- £53.25

Starters- Choose two for your guests-

  • Smooth Chicken Liver Pate, onion marmalade, toasts.
  • Choose your choice from the soup selection list.
  • Melon garnished with seasonal Fruits

Main course-Choose three Roasts for you guests to enjoy-

  • Honey Glazed Ham, Apple Sauce.
  • Roast Turkey, Stuffing, Chipolatas, Cranberry Sauce.
  • Sage roasted Loin of Pork, apple sauce.
  • Trough of Bowland Leg of Lamb, Mint Sauce.
  • Roast Sirloin of Beef (served pink), Yorkshire Pudding and gravy All served with Roast Potatoes, gravy and Seasonal Vegetables.
  • Your guests will be invited a table at a time to visit the carvery table to choose from the roasts, or even have a bit of each!

    Beef Burgers, Bacon, sausage, chicken strips, buns.
    Selections of salads, chips, sautéed onions.
  • Italian Antipasto and Bruschetta Buffet £14.75
    Toasted ciabatta, aioli, a selection of toppings. Salamis, roasted vegetables, mortadella.
  • Ploughman’s Buffet £14.75
    Pork pies, cold cuts, chutneys, cheeses, sausage rolls, breads, salads.
  • Hog Roast £ 14.50
    Apple Sauce, stuffing, Buns and mixed salads.

  • BBQs from £15.50.

  • Full dressed Buffet- £22.50
    Cold cuts, poached fillet of Salmon, mixed Salads, Boiled Eggs, Quiches, Tomato and Mozzarella, Cumberland Sausage, stuffed mushrooms, fish salad, pate, vegetable ravioli, Chargrilled Vegetables, garlic bread, Prawns, Chips, New potatoes, Lasagna, Chicken Curry and BBQ Ribs.

To enable us to look after and cater for your guests in the manner for which we are renowned, and for health and safety reasons, we expect you to provide us with as accurate numbers for the evening reception as possible.

The Sausage and Bacon Barm option is only intended as a light supper for those guests who have already dined during the day, if a high proportion of your evening guests have not joined you for the wedding breakfast, it would be better to consider a more substantial buffet, or add on a Cheese Platter, Pork Pie Tower, Sausage Roll Platters for example.
